Webinar | Unraveling Modern Life Sciences

    • Dr. Santanu Chakraborty

    August 24, 2020 To August 24, 2020 | 07:00 PM IST

We hosted a webinar on Life Sciences in the 21st Century with Dr. Santanu Chakraborty – Biologist and Program Director, Sustainable Life Sciences, Atria University on August 24, 2020, from 6:00-7:00 PM.

The webinar focused on the diverse branches of Modern Biological Sciences and high-impact careers of the future. With revolutionary innovations in modern life sciences, students no longer need an MBBS degree to improve human well-being.

During the webinar, we discussed how a study of modern Life Sciences opens up a range of opportunities for students today to make a difference. You could specialize in genetics to understand more about complex diseases caused by single and multiple genes. Build your expertise in genomics and decode environmental and external factors to diseases. Or, become a leader in stem cell research and regenerative medicine to heal injuries, cure degenerative diseases, and even slow down the aging process!

In the webinar, Dr. Santanu Chakraborty also discussed how biology can help preserve our ecosystem and provide healthy food in a sustainable manner. And also shared reasons for studying the life sciences.
